I've had that happen with bottled water, the process is super cooling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercooling). Basically, the temp of the liquid is below freezing point but the contents are still in liquid state. When you open, or touch, the bottle one of the molecules changes from a liquid to a solid causing a chain reaction of the adjacent molecules. Something like that anyway.

So I was reading this article on your site.
http://www.kennedyprojects.com/2010/10/22/help-our-wii-wont-turn-on/#more-457

I had this issue and the fix was weird but easy. Unplug everything as you said. Take the power cord and the power box/adapter whatever you want to call it to a GFI plug in your house. These are the plugs that have the black and red buttons. Plug it into the GFI outlet and trip the outlet by testing it. Reset the GFI outlet and the power adapter gets reset. It should work properly now when you plug it back into your Wii.

Laura.. cd into the directory that it mounted your ipod to.. could be something like /media/ipod/

Once its plugged in, type 'mount' in a terminal and it'll tell you what's mounted and where.. I used MOUNTPOINT as just a general point of where you may have it mounted since its probably different on different setups..

I spent some time searching for a way to mount my Droid to my Fedora 12, and well you said the one thing I forgot, you have to tell the droid to mount to the computer.

Geesh, did I feel dumb. Anyway thanks for the great article.

How bout few topics on great way to save battery life - Turn off GPS unless you need it, oh and the application that everyone will need is Advanced Task Killer, keeps those background apps under control.

I've been a fan of Apple for sometime, they produce gadgets that is aesthetically beautiful while working like a each and every time. That can't be said about alot of companies, it's typically one or the other. Companies don't usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that being said I've got to say that I'm very excited about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I'm afraid that this may be ahead of our time. What do you think?
