We decided this evening to start using the Wii to download Netflix movies instead of spending $5/movie for ondemand through verizon fios. We looked at the plans, and it’s only $8.99/mo to download them to pc/mac or supported game system to download as many movies as you want per month!
Went to turn on the Wii — hrm.. won’t power on.. the fix is actually pretty easy – and costs nothing!
I’ve started, run, and eventually sold Internet community sites. I never intended to sell them, but as they got more popular they were more difficult to find the time to run unless I took them over as my full-time job.
The longest running site we had was PWCToday.com. It is a PWC/Jetski community website that we (my wife and I) started in June of 2000. Five years later we found that we had to make a choice of either me quitting my regular job or selling the site. It had grown so large that it needed more time than we had hobby-wise to put into it.
It was and still is the most popular jetski website on the Internet! That’s a great sign from a website – meaning that you could depend on it for daily income and replace your current job with something that you’re excited about! We took the low road and sold it to a company that was in the industry. I was itching to try my hand at other things after seeing how well we did with that one!
Since I can’t seem to get it to format right, i’ve uploaded the PDF file for this article – it’s pretty long…
“Research released this week by Foote Partners shows that some skills continue to pay well, despite the recession. The research firm’s data showed that pay for 60 skills and certifications declined in the first quarter, yet another 46 skills and certifications experience increases in pay during the same time period.”

I’ve collected lots of domain names over the years – here are a couple that I don’t want anymore. Email me with offers.
Yeah, i’m into Lost. I can’t wait for the next Thursday to come around and see what happens (erm.. or doesn’t happen..) next – and what questions i’ll have until next week’s episode. So if there’s something about Lost that I haven’t seen yet, i’d like to see it!
I also like my ipod. There’s still room on it so I decided this evening to find Lost’s Missing Pieces episodes (13 of em) and put em into itunes/ipod. The Lost Missing Pieces episodes were ‘Mobisodes’ that Verizon wireless customers got on their phones each monday night for 13 weeks up to the first episode of season 4 (what we’re in now). Each mobisode was then available a day later on abc.com to view.

Went over to the in-laws house last night – stopped and got a case of coronas on the way there. Took some out of the case when we got there and left the rest of it in the back of the sienna.
Now tonight, I remembered about it. It’s been under 20 degrees outside since I put the case in there so I was expecting a frozen remainder of bottles. WRONG.
NICE – so I opened one up, and saw it starting to do something at the top there – saw little ice crystals starting to form.. cool.. then it spread slowly until the whole bottle was frozen! It wasn’t frozen when I brought it in the house!
I tried to get another one to do it and video it but they wouldn’t do it anymore.. here’s a link to youtube where others have recorded it happening
No, i don’t know why they’re all bloody english.

The myspace crosspost script can be found here and i’m actually testing it out with this post. It’ll be pretty cool if it works since I’ll write stuff on KP a lot more than on myspace.
Here goes….
We’ll see if it does anything to curb the pharmaspam I’ve been getting on here. Using Akismet through wordpress. Haven’t gotten any spam yet.. heh.
